Bishop’s Coffee and Tea is a small, independent coffee roaster and tea supplier out of Northwestern Florida. Since it’s beginnings in 2007, Owner and CEO T. Bishop has continued to grow and expand the business, with several stores throughout the Southern United States. Additionally, her brand of low-acidity, electronically-roasted coffees have been featured in several grocery stores throughout the Southern United States, ranging from Florida to Louisiana, and were sold in San Francisco during the summer of 2013.

Independent Marketing Consultant with Bishop’s Coffee and Tea
I met Coffee Roaster, Owner and CEO of Bishop’s Coffee and Tea T. Bishop during the summer of 2012, and started working as an independent marketing consultant and planner. Over the course of our business relationship, I created a large social media presence for Bishop’s Atlanta location, assisted in the completion of the establishment’s buildout, and assisted in the planning and execution of events at the Atlanta location.
In the summer of 2015, I again began working with Bishop’s Coffee and Tea to rebrand the business into a full-service brand, offering skincare products, liquors, jewelry, purses, throws and other items.
During this business expansion, I acted as liaison and Executive Assistant to T. Bishop while also remaining a solid marketing consultant. As Bishop’s liaison and Executive Assistant, I worked with the General Manager of the Atlanta location to secure national brokers for distribution of both her signature coffees and teas. I also initiated and maintained relationships with those brokers to continue the process of getting Bishop’s brand into regional and national grocers.
As the company continued to go through its rebranding, I worked with T. Bishop to develop and create the new skincare products by finding relevant additions to the products, developing the labeling and print marketing materials, photographing the individual products and coordinating other pertinent initiatives to begin the sale of this branch of the Bishops Coffee and Tea brand. Additionally, I provided consultation for the implementation and design of the jewelry line, discussing my personal design expertise and experience with T. Bishop to develop a customized line of high-end jewelry.
While acting as an independent marketing consultant, I also developed a working relationship with T. Bishop’s web development company to create a new website which would feature the different brands under the Bishops Coffee and Tea umbrella. This rebranding of Bishops Coffee and Tea included a modernized website, which displayed each individual brand independently. During the rebranding and discovery phases, T. Bishop and I developed strategies to create personalized videos explaining the brand’s story and expansion. With this new website in place, I created an online content marketing strategy that would drive business from social media channels, blogging and relevant linking strategies back to the website and create customer conversions.
